Your Notes and Reminders can be personal. HISHI is designed to make it clear what stays on your device, what can be synchronized, what sharing reveals, and which choices remain yours.

If HISHI asks for access, you should know why.
HISHI should only ask for information, account details or device capabilities that serve a real product purpose. The explanation should be clear before or alongside the request — not hidden behind technical language.
Every request should have a reason the user can understand.
What stays on your device. What can leave it.
Supported Notes and Reminders are saved locally first. Until the relevant data has synchronized successfully, it exists only on the current device and cannot be recovered from another device.
When cloud sync is enabled and synchronization succeeds, supported synchronized data can be used for continuity and recovery across supported devices.
Local save keeps it on this device. Successful sync is what makes cross-device recovery possible.

When cloud sync is enabled, supported HISHI data can synchronize beyond the current device when connectivity is available. Until a change has synchronized successfully, that change remains local to the current device and is not available for recovery elsewhere.
Cloud sync changes where supported HISHI data can be available. It does not change who is allowed to see it.
Shared doesn’t mean uncontrolled.
A shared Reminder should reveal only what is needed for that sharing experience. Sharing one Reminder should not open the rest of either person’s HISHI data.

Every permission should come with a clear reason.
Some HISHI features may depend on platform permissions or device capabilities. When HISHI asks for access, the user should be able to understand which feature needs it, why it matters, and what changes if the permission is not granted where the platform and feature allow a choice.
Ask only when needed. Explain why. Respect the choice.
Your account. Your devices. Your control.
HISHI should make it clear which devices are connected to your account and give you understandable controls over active sessions and device access where those controls are available in the released product.
Know where your account is active. Remove access when you need to. Do not confuse access control with data recovery.
Questions should have a clear destination.
